At Skutt Catholic, tuition includes exceptional educational and co-curricular experiences, as well as essential tools like an iPad and all required books and textbooks. Incidental expenses such as meals, uniforms and other personal needs will be additional costs.
Tuition is designed to be as comprehensive and inclusive as possible, ensuring families receive great value and clarity on what they may be expected to contribute through a chart that outlines maximum tuition based on household income.
Tuition is adjusted according to a family’s ability to pay, considering factors such as household income, family size, the number of children attending Catholic schools, and extraordinary expenses like medical costs, with a sliding scale ensuring manageable tuition for a wide range of families.
Family income is determined by various sources, including salaries, investment income, self-employment income, social security or disability, rental income, housing allowance or assistance, cash distributions from LLCs, S Corporations, or partnerships, and nontaxable income. Income is considered before deductions for retirement and Health Savings Account contributions.
For families with traditional W-2 earnings, income can be determined by the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) on the 1040 Federal Tax Return, with Skutt Catholic reserving the right to consider past or future earnings potential and significant assets that could be used for tuition payments.
If you would like to apply for Income-Based Tuition, you will need to create an account on FACTS, our tuition payment and financial assistance portal. The portal offers a secure way to complete and submit all necessary forms, as well as any documents required for the application. There is a $40 fee for submitting the FACTS application. All assistance received will require work study hours.
Once your application is submitted, Skutt Catholic’s finance office will work with you to create a tuition plan that best fits your family’s needs.

A fee is paid by the family to the tuition management system of 2.95% if you choose to pay with credit or debit card.
