Introducing Colleen Halpin
It’s back to school for the SkyHawks this week. Returning students will be meeting our new faculty and our SkyHawk Spotlights will introduce our newest family members to the community. Today, we introduce Colleen Halpin.
COLLEEN HALPIN -THEOLOGY
Colleen Halpin is one of our new theology teachers at Skutt Catholic. She will be teaching Theology 12 and Senior Studies.
A FEW THINGS:
Colleen graduated from Duchesne Academy in 2014.
She attended Notre Dame, earning a B.S. in mathematics in 2018 and an M.A. in theology in 2020.
She previously taught math and theology at St. Joseph Catholic High School in Ogden, Utah.
IN HER OWN WORDS:
“I became a teacher because I love working with teenagers, and I consider it a great privilege to be a part of their lives.”
“I am passionate about study and about my faith, and teaching theology allows me to bring those two passions together.”
“My goal for the school year is to become acquainted with as many members of the SkyHawk community as possible.”
“I am most looking forward to spending time with my students, and getting to see them excel not only in the classroom, but also in athletics, theatrical performances, and other activities.”
