HONORING OUR LEGACY. FULFILLING OUR MISSION.

Since its first wrestling state title in 1998, Skutt Catholic has transformed a single victory into a legacy of 100 State Championships. This milestone was made possible by a bold, early investment in dedicated facilities and a commitment to faith and discipline.

To honor a rich legacy of SkyHawk excellence, Skutt Catholic is launching The Zink Activity Center, a 130′ x 310′ indoor performance facility designed for year-round training and community growth. This strategic investment provides the necessary capacity to serve our growing student body while reinforcing our mission of faith and discipline.

announcing the name!

Named in honor of presenting donors Ryan and Mandy Zink, The Zink Activity Center stands as a testament to their family’s belief in our students. Their transformational generosity turns vision into reality, ensuring Skutt Catholic’s legacy of excellence continues for generations.

Upon arrival, guests and athletes are greeted by the Mike and Sue Dobel Welcome Lobby.  Named in honor of presenting donors Mike and Sue Dobel, the Dobel Welcome Lobby stands as a reflection of their deep commitment to hospitality, community, and faith.

The Moore Power Strength and Conditioning Facility honors President Dr. Jeremy Moore, who began his Skutt Catholic career as the Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2004. Made possible by the generosity of Tom and Cheri Hassenstab, this facility is dedicated to building the strength and character that prepare student-athletes for lifelong success.

Named in honor of its presenting donors, the Paul and Patty Mendlik Court provides a premier full-size space for athletes to sharpen their skills. This multipurpose court is dedicated to fostering athletic growth and excellence through versatile, year-round training.

Join the 51 Club: Honoring Coach Matt Vrzal

Coach Matt Vrzal was a pillar of the Skutt Catholic community, dedicated to forging gritty, hard-working leaders who refuse to settle. To honor his legacy and his iconic jersey number, we are naming our state-of-the-art training facility “Area 51.” This space will be where every SkyHawk athlete builds the character and discipline that Coach Vrzal championed on the sidelines and in life.

Inspired by a lead gift from Tim and Kari Kudron to name this space in Matt’s honor, we invite you to join the 51 Club. We are seeking 51 donors to make a $25,000 commitment—as a one-time gift or $5,000 annually over five years—to complete Area 51. Your support ensures that Coach Vrzal’s mission of excellence lives on in every athlete who enters these doors.
