Introducing Becky Terrell

Students have been meeting our new faculty and our SkyHawk Spotlights will introduce our newest family members to the community. Today, we introduce Becky Terrell.

BECKY TERRELL – MEDIA SPECIALIST

Becky Terrell is the new media specialist at Skutt Catholic. In this role, she will be overseeing the school’s media center resources and facilities, co-leading student council and the PageTurners Book Club.

A FEW THINGS:

Born and raised in Omaha, Becky is a 1987 graduate of Roncalli Catholic High School. 

She earned a B.A. in language arts in 1992 and an M.S. in library science in 2012, both from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.

Becky has been in education for 30 years, spending the past 15 years teaching English at Millard North High School.  She previously taught at Benson High School and Millard South High School.

IN HER OWN WORDS: 

“I seriously wanted to be a teacher since my first day of kindergarten, and that never changed.  I like helping people and showing students how they can create a passion for life-long learning.”

“I am so excited for this new role of media specialist!”

FUN FACT:

“My family loves to camp! Our favorite spot is Lewis and Clark in Yankton, but we did visit and adore Eureka Springs, Arkansas this summer!”
